Explore the temperate rainforest at the head of Loch Ewe with us. Temperature rainforests are incredibly rare, even rarer than the Amazon rainforest! We'll discover the trees, plants and lichens of the woodlands and learn all about the habitat. We might see some woodland birds such as treecreepers or crossbills, and signs of red squirrels or pine martens. The walk is about 2 miles on woodland paths and will take around 2 hours allowing us plenty of time to stop and observe. You'll need to wear good walking boots as the woodland paths are rough, which sadly means they are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
